I used a martini glass to take these pics and had forgotten about my margarita glass set that I had got a while ago. Oh well. I hardly ever make margaritas anyway. I was watching Cinco de Mayo weekend on the Food Network channel and was craving a margarita on Sunday night.
These turned out to be a bit on the strong side. So, if you like your margaritas a bit week maybe use only 2 ounces of tequila. It called for 4 1/2 ounces of tequila and it made 3 drinks. Serve these with your tacos on Cinco De Mayo.
I was a bad mom, and left my glass sitting on the coffee table and had gotten up to get something. My dog, Colin let’s just say enjoyed a margarita. He was a tired pup for about an hour and then he eventually came out of. I’m never leaving a glass of alcohol on the table like that again.
