Hey everyone. I’m almost ashamed to post this recipe because it’s so easy. Almost too easy, but an idea anyway. Do you ever go on Instagram and look at all the weight watcher ideas and pictures Instagramers post there? I saw this last night on the Weight Watcher Instagram account. Rushed to my local Walmart to find this bread. The bread is 45 calories per slice and only 1 point per slice. No wonder why Oprah loves her bread so much!
This garlic bread is only 1 smart point per slice.
Sarah Lee Healthy Smart Bread (1 sp)
Spray Butter (0 sp)
Garlic Salt (0 sp)
Parsley (0 sp)
Pretty sweet huh? You can have one slice of garlic bread, 1 cup of pasta (5 sp), and 1/2 cup of marinara sauce for (3sp). This is going to be my dinner the next couple weeks. It’s pretty sweet. for only 9 smart points total. I am on a mission to lose some weight. Going to Hawaii in a couple of months.
- 1 slice of bread
- 12 sprays of spray butter
- garlic salt to taste
- Toast bread in Toaster. When the toast is ready spray with the butter spray and sprinkle with garlic salt and parsley.
