Avocados have become one of my favorite foods to eat, especially on top of toast. I love avocado toast with an egg on top, but that is getting kind of old school. Don’t you think? Time to change up the avocado toast routine and add something different to it! I recently discovered fruits are good with avocados. Any type of berry like strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. ALL good.
Avocado toast is something I eat all the time when I’m trying to eat healthy. If you’re one of those people that think avocados are unhealthy because of the fat in it, then you’re wrong! The fats in avocados are healthy and good for you. They also contain around 20 vitamins and minerals.
- 2 slices of whole wheat or whole grain toast (I used Sarah Lee 45 calorie bread)
- 1 avocado
- 5 sliced strawberries
- Chia Seeds
- Brown the toast in a toaster. Spread avocados on toast and top with strawberries and sprinkle with chia seeds.
