Hello everyone. We are expecting our first snowfall here tomorrow in Fargo, ND and I’m glad I won’t be here for it. My mom and I are to the Minneapolis area to see my brother and his wife. We are all going to a Halloween Party on Saturday night and I’m really excited to do some shopping there. I haven’t been to Trader Joe’s in eons and I can’t wait to go to Ikea. Going to look for different props for my food videos and a desk for my little office I plan on having downstairs in my basement. What are your favorite things to get at Trader Joe’s these days? I got this recipe from a Tasty video that I saw online and just adapted it to what I like and added in some extra things. Everybody should be familiar with Tasty videos on Facebook these days right? Sometimes, I must admit that I could sit in front of my laptop and watch those type of cooking videos for a couple of hours at least. This pasta is pretty weight watcher friendly. It has some veggies and shrimp for protein. If you want to be even extra healthy, use some whole when pasta noodles instead. The sauce might not look like it’s thick enough when it gets done cooking so let the pasta sit out for a couple of minutes to cool down a bit and the cream sauce should turn creamy. This was a really good recipe and would make it again. Next time, with more shrimp and some parmesan cheese.
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 2 lbs of shrimp
- 1 cup of tomatoes
- ½ cup green onion
- 2 tablespoons of chili powder
- ½ cup of parsley
- 1 cup of milk
- ½ pound of rotini pasta
- Melt butter in pot.
- Bring some water to a boil, and cook the pasta for 7 minutes.
- Add Shrimp and stir.
- Add tomatoes, parsley, green onions, and chili powder
- Add milk and pasta .
- Let simmer.
- Take the pot off the stove and let the pasta sit for 5 minutes. Sauce will become thick and creamy.
