1. These pots are the best. They cook everything evenly and they’re just down right pretty to look at. I actually have a Lodge brand dutch oven because it was cheaper than the Le Crueset ones and Alton Brown recommended that company on his show.

2. These are handy for making your own french fries or just slicing vegetables really thin. You can get really good cheap ones at Bed Bath and Beyond

Food processors are probably one of the handiest kitchen tools to have in your kitchen. You can puree just about anything in them and make bread dough, pizza dough, scones, etc. I’ve made frozen yogurt and banana ice cream.  So much better than a Magic Bullet.

I was lucky to get one of these for my birthday one year. I saw all the Food Network chefs have one. Sandra Lee has one in practically every color I think. They have different attachments you can buy with them like the ice cream attachment, pasta maker, and meat grinder. My favorite is the ice cream one.
