Description
I made these pizza turkey burgers in my cast iron skillet and then finished cooking them in the oven so the cheese melts but you could totally do these on the grill too.
Ingredients

1 pound 98% lean ground turkey fat-free or 4 Jennie-O 90/10 Lean Turkey Burgers
1 tsp of Oregano
1 tsp of Garlic Powder
1/8 tsp of crushed red pepper
Salt and Pepper to Taste
2 plum tomatoes
4 light hamburger buns
12 slices of Turkey Pepperoni
4 slices of Mozzarella Cheese
4 tablespoons of Marinara Sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, salt, garlic, oregano, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper; divide turkey mixture into four balls and then gently press each one into 4-inch round patties.
- Coat a large griddle, outdoor grill rack or stovetop grill pan with cooking spray; preheat to medium-high..
- Grill turkey burgers, flipping once, about 5 minutes per side for medium (or to desired degree of doneness). Top each burger with cheese about 2 minutes before fully finished cooking on second side; cook until cheese melts.
- Serve each burger on a bun, 1/4 of tomatoes and 6 slices pepperoni.
