Have you seen this appetizer recipe making the rounds on the Internet? I’ve seen it called Pig Candy Crackers, Bacon Brown Sugar Crackers, Sweet bacon crackers etc. Call them what you want to it’s a sweet and savory appetizer and all you need is 3 ingredients for it. 3 ingredient recipes are the best.
Share them with a crowd or eat them by yourself.
It almost reminds me of the Christmas crack recipe where you place a bunch of crackers together on a sheet pan and pour a sugar mixture on top. Instead, this gets topped with bacon.
What Ingredients do I need?
In this section, you can find substitutes or suggestions for certain ingredients. I also will try and list out what the ingredients' purpose is for.
Crackers - I used Keebler crackers for these cause I like the buttery taste of them. Ritz crackers also work well.
Bacon - Depending on the size of the cracker cut the bacon in half first to see if it will wrap around the cracker.
Brown Sugar - caramelizes on top of the bacon.
