Noodles cooked with pasta, sausage, and marinara sauce… you can’t go wrong! If you’ve never cooked sausage before it’s just like cooking ground beef. Sausage is cooked in a skillet and it is done when it is no longer pink in the middle.

This dish comes together really quickly. You can get all the sausage cooked in the sauce while the noodles are boiling. I like to use my oven to melt the cheese but you can totally do this in a skillet if you don’t want to dirty up any extra dishes. Sprinkle some cheese on top of the pasta and put a lid on the pot and wait for the cheese to melt.
Sausage is one of my favorite types of meat and I like any kind of it. Smoked, Italian, Spicy, you name it. It’s good in anything and if you are looking for a more WW friendly sausage then turkey is the way to go. You can use the other kinds if you prefer that, just use less of it than what the recipe calls.
Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread Sticks
My recipe for Easy Cheesy Garlic breadsticks would be great to serve with this sausage pasta skillet. The recipe is made with the famous 2 ingredient dough recipe which is self-rising flour and Greek Yogurt. You simply roll the dough out flat like a pizza and brush garlic butter on top of it and mozzarella cheese. Bake the cheese sticks in the oven and cut the dough into breadsticks.
