Since this post was published back in 2014, air fryers have become quite popular so I thought it would be a good idea to update this post with instructions on how to cook them in your air fryer. And update the picture as well.
Have you ever tried making chicken wings in your air fryer before? I tried it for the first time tonight and I was mind blown. They come out so crispy and the wing sauce is to die for. This recipe is also great for a game day party or just an appetizer night.

Recipe Tips and Tricks
Replace the Sriracha with Frank’s Buffalo Wing Sauce.
Substitute Agave nectar for the honey or brown rice syrup.
Use Worchestshire sauce instead of Soy.
What to serve with Buffalo Wings?
Cut up some celery sticks and dip the wings in ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing.
Make other appetizers to serve a long side of them such as onion rings, mozzarella sticks, or spinach and artichoke dip.
Potato Wedges or any type of frozen french fry.
A nice side of mac and cheese.
How to make Baked Honey Sriracha Wings
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly coat a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
In a small bowl, mix butter, vegetable oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pat dry chicken wings with paper towels and place on baking sheet. Pour butter mixture over wings and toss well to coat. Arrange wings in a single layer on baking sheet and bake until browned and crisp, 45 to 55 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the sauce: Melt butter in a small pot over medium heat. Whisk in flour. Stir in honey, Sriracha, soy sauce and lime juice. Bring to a boil then remove from heat.
Place cooked wings in a large bowl. Pour sauce over wings and gently toss to coat. Transfer wings to a serving platter. Sprinkle with cilantro and sesame seeds, and serve with lime wedges, if desired.
Air Fryer Instructions: Set the air fryer to 350 degrees F and cook for 12 minutes, then flip the wings with tongs and cook for 12 minutes more. Do not add sauce until wings are cooked.
