This blackened tilapia made on a Blackstone is great served with some cooked rice and a side of some chopped up pineapple or avocado. Makes a great lunch or meal!
- 4 tilapia fillets
- 2 tablespoons of paprika
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of onion powder
- 1 tablespoon of thyme
- 1 tablespoon of oregano
- 1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
- Lemon wedges for serving
In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create the blackening seasoning.
Preheat your Blackstone griddle on high heat and lightly oil the surface.
Brush each tilapia fillet with olive oil and generously coat both sides with the blackening seasoning.
Place the seasoned tilapia fillets on the hot Blackstone griddle and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and blackened.
Once cooked, remove the tilapia from the griddle and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
Enjoy your Blackened Tilapia cooked to perfection on a Blackstone griddle!
