Bourban chicken just like at the Chinese Takeout place in the mall!

Ingredients

1 lb boneless skinless chicken, cut into bite-size pieces

1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce

1/2 cup bourbon

2 Tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon dijon mustard

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

1 Tablespoon corn starch
-
1 Tablespoon water
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your Instant Pot.
- In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, bourbon, honey, dijon mustard, sugar, garlic powder, and ginger. Whisk well to combine. Pour over chicken.
- Close and lock the lid on your Instant Pot. Set the Instant Pot to manual and set the timer for 20 minutes. When the time is up do a quick release.
- The sauce should be boiling when you open the lid. Mix the water and cornstarch together in a small bowl and add to the sauce. Whisk everything together until it has slightly thickened.
- Serve with white or brown rice and garnish with chopped scallions (optional).
- 3/4 cup serving size
