Description

Have you ever filleted a salmon or fresh fish before? I like to fish every now and then, but it can be quite a disgusting task. Fishing licenses are kind of expensive here and it's not really worth it if you're only going to go about 3 or 4 times a year.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 4oz salmon filets
  • 2 tablespoons of light butter, browned
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1 tsp of garlic
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Season the salmon filets with salt and pepper. Place the salmon on a sheet tray lined with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. While the salmon is cooking in the oven, make the sauce. Melt the butter in a sauce pan, and cook the butter until melted and it has turned a golden brown color. Add the garlic and lime juice.
  4. Serve the salmon with some rice and drizzle the sauce over the salmon.
  5. Serving size: 1 salmon fillet + half the sauce
