Cheese ball appetizers are probably one of the easiest to make around the Holiday season. There isn't a lot of ingredients involved and it was quite fun forming the cheese ball with the saran wrap paper. Find some gourmet crackers to spread the cheese on. I used wheat thin crackers but there are so many different types of crackers out there now since I made this blog post back in 2014. Use whatever your favorite is. Super good.

This is also a very versatile recipe so it's easy to change up the cheese, nuts, and dried fruit that go around the ball.

What Ingredients do I need?

In this section, you can find substitutes or suggestions for certain ingredients. I also will try and list out what the ingredients' purpose is for.

Cream Cheese - Low fat cream cheese at room temperature - this will be helpful to form the ball better.

Mozzarella  - shredded

Slivered Almonds - or any type of crushed nuts. Pistachio, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds,

Cranberries - I like the cranberries for a little bit of tart and sweetness

Ooooh yum!! These sound amazing! I love the flavor of those smokehouse almonds… and… you really can’t go wrong with cheese and bacon!
