Cranberry Lime Vodka

I have always been a fan of cocktails and martinis that taste like a dessert or fruit. I don’t even like going to bars that just serve beer and wine. It needs to be a full bar. Beer is just too bitter tasting for me and I feel the same way about wine. So, in my liquor pantry, there’s a lot of different flavored vodkas like peach, vanilla, and raspberry.

These types of flavored vodkas are so easy to make at home. Do you want a peppermint flavored vodka? Infuse some plain vodka with peppermint candy canes. Want orange? Add orange peels. Want gummy bear flavored vodka? Add gummy bears to vodka. I think you get the idea now.

This Cranberry Lime Vodka is perfect for the Holidays and is infused with fresh cranberries and lime. Poke some holes into the cranberries first before adding it to the vodka so the juices from the cranberries can soak in the vodka. If you are wondering what kind of drinks you can make with this, Sprite or Orange Juice would be really good or make a mojito with it!

What do I need to make Cranberry Vodka?

1 bag of fresh cranberries

Zest of one lime

2 tablespoons of sugar

1 bottle of good Vodka such as Grey Goose

Glass jars or bottles for storing

How to Cranberry Lime Vodka

Poke holes in cranberries and put them in a jar of your liking. Add lime zest and sugar and fill to top with vodka. For candy cane vodka use 5 peppermint candy canes and vodka. Can keep for weeks.

Tips for Cranberry Lime Vodka

If you are looking for some more interesting glass jars to store your vodka in, Hobby Lobby has a ton of different kinds. Stores like Target or Wal-Mart have bottles.

You have to let the vodka sit and infuse for a couple of days before being able to drink it. Store in jars or bottles.
