Ingredients
- 6 Lite Hot Dog buns
- 6 97% fat free hot dogs such as Hebrew National
- 6 slices of applewood smoked bacon
- 6 tablespoons of reduced sugar ketchup
- A box of tooth picks for keeping the bacon on the hot dog
- Cooking Spray
Instructions
Start by preheating the griddle to medium heat. Wrap bacon slices around hot dogs.
Place the hot dogs on the griddle and let them cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure they are browned on all sides.
For added flavor, consider adding some onions or peppers to the griddle, allowing them to caramelize alongside the hot dogs. This not only enhances the taste but also creates a visually appealing presentation.
For toppings use some sugar free ketchup and drizzle that on top of your hot dog.
