Healthy Banana Splits

Healthy Banana Splits  - These banana splits are topped with protein packed Greek yogurt, whipped topping, and drizzle with some peanut butter and chocolate. Add in some extra fruit here and there and you can eat this for breakfast!

Are you looking for some new and healthy breakfast ideas? This healthy banana split can be served for breakfast and can be even eaten as a snack. The best part is that it’s only 2 points and how can you not resists having sprinkles for breakfast!? Ok, ok… I know sprinkles aren’t a healthy choice option when it comes to breakfast. Everything in moderation right? Right. Sprinkles are going to be the next new “super food” just you wait. 🙂

Bananas and greek yogurt are one a few of my favorite zero point foods on WW freestyle plan. Greek yogurt can be mixed with so many different flavored pudding mixes and jellos the possibilities are endless.

How to make a Healthy Banana Split

  • Split the banana in half lengthwise with the skin on.
  • Take out the bananas and put them on a plate.
  • Combine the container of yogurt with dry instant vanilla pudding mix and empty the container out onto the center of the banana.
  • Top with Reddi Wip and sprinkles. Lightly drizzle some peanut butter and sugar-free chocolate syrup on top.

Tips for Healthy Banana Split

There are so many different flavors of instant pudding or jello out there. It’s fun to play around with and see what flavors are great.

For melted PB2 - mix the powder and water together according to package directions. Then place it in a microwave safe dish for a couple of seconds until it is a drizzling consistency.

PB2 is powdered peanut butter. It can be found next to the other nut butter in your grocery store.

Add in more fruit! Kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges, blackberries… mmm.
