Hot Ham and Cheese Party Rolls - ham and cheese wrapped inside pastry dough and baked until warm and gooey in the oven. The ultimate party appetizer for Christmas or New Year's Eve!

Are you enjoying my 14 days of Christmas Treats so far? Today, I made an appetizer recipe for everyone. Saw this recipe video on Facebook for party rollups and it looked so good. The original recipe calls for turkey and I adapted it to use ham instead and sprinkled some famous Everything Bagel seasoning on top of it. You know that popular seasoning from Trader Joe's that everyone loves? I have a recipe on this blog on how to make it and it tastes just like the seasoning from Trader Joe's. The cheese inside these rolls gets so bubbly and gooey in the oven and with the melted butter and bagel seasoning on top these rolls are HEAVEN. 🙂

Frequently Asked Questions and Tips
This recipe uses canned crescent roll dough but you can definitely use 2 Ingredient Dough for this recipe. The recipe for 2 Ingredient dough is equal parts self-rising-flour and plain Greek Yogurt. The SmartPoints for that would be 4 instead of 5. Mix that together in a bowl with a spatula and form into a dough ball. Roll it out and place the ham and cheese on top.
Homemade Everything Bagel Seasoning
What can I serve this with?
You can serve these little party roll ups for lunch with some fresh fruit, a veggie tray, and whatever else you want to have on the side!
Other seasonings to try?
Everything Bagel Seasoning is definitely an option to use. If I didn't have that I'd try using garlic butter spread.
How to store leftovers: Always store leftovers in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic, whatever! Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container before putting it in the freezer or fridge.
This can be prepped the day ahead.

You spread the butter on top of the rolls. I updated the recipe to include that.

So what do you do with the butter and everything topping once you mix it? Put it atop the ham? Put it atop the rolls after shaping? Put it on the rolls after they are baked?
