Hello everyone! It is now a new month and usually at the start of the new month, I’ll talk about certain things in my life that happened last month. Got it? Good. Not much happened. I got a new iPhone and upgraded from a 6 to an 8. The only real difference is the space. I now have 64 GB instead of 16 and I take a lot of photos and videos for my blog using that phone.
I still love my air fryer. I make crispy potatoes for breakfast pretty much every morning. Potatoes and eggs are life.
I’ve cut back on dairy a lot. I’m going to go to an allergist to see what it is I’m allergic too. I’m pretty sure it’s the casein because yesterday, I tried out this lactose-free cheese but it was still giving me the same issues. That cheese had casein in it as well, so I’m like 99% positive that I’m allergic to casein.
Cheese is super hard for me to give up.
The Blue Angels came to town. They are pretty awesome and you can always tell when they are in town because they fly over your house and make a crap ton of noise.
As a food blogger, I spend a lot of time on Pinterest. I love to pin recipes, quotes, and scenic pictures. It just really bothers me whenever I come across a pin/image that has been stolen directly off my site. I ask specifically on my blog if you plan on using any of my images to please email me and ask. There are multiple Weight Watcher Pinterest related accounts stealing my images. They take them directly off my site (recipe included) and create their own pins with a link to their site. What is even worse, if you go to these sites with my stolen images there are tons of other images from bloggers on there that are being stolen. These websites have ads on them, so they are looking for a way to make a quick buck. These people creating these recipe sites have no respect for people’s hard-earned work. I’m not telling people to not go to these sites, just letting people be aware of it.
Seeing these images on Pinterest being stolen makes me angry and thankfully Pinterest has a DCMA takedown request which removes every pin with your stolen images on it.
This class has been such a lifesaver that I’m taking from Kat Walters. It’s called Instagram Makeover. Not only is it helping me with my Instagram but it’s helping me with all my other social media platforms as well that I’m on and my blog. Choosing fonts, colors, and a certain background throughout your photography can really help your business grow. People start recognizing that stuff once you start implementing that into your business. These classes are fun and if you haven’t followed me on Instagram yet please do! I post my recipes on there and quotes about weight loss and food as well.
