    Air Fryer Chocolate Lava Cakes

Valentine’s Day is coming up and if you’ve never made lava cakes before definitely try these in your air fryer. It’s fun to cut into the chocolate cake and watch the filling ooze out.  The “lava” in the middle of the cake which is just undercooked batter is perfectly safe to eat.

They only take 13 minutes in the oven and about the same amount of time i the air fryer. Make sure to top the lava cakes with some vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries on top.

If you don’t plan on making all the cakes at once you can store the rest of the batter in the fridge in an airtight container until ready to use. All you have to do is pour the batter into the ramekins and bake them.

    Ingredients for Molten Lava Cakes

Butter - melt in the microwave

Bittersweet Chocolate  and Semi-Sweet Chocolate - this also gets melted in the microwave with the butter

    Powdered Sugar - for sweetness

Eggs - make sure the batter is slightly cooled before whisking in the eggs or else they will scramble

    Vanilla - for flavor
