I got this jar of Nocciolata in the mail to sample, and it's delicious. Nocciolata is a hazelnut spread made of all organic ingredients and it's easy to spread on toast, pour over ice cream, or dip into strawberries. If you haven't tried this stuff before you must. I found a jar of it in the organic section of my grocery store.

I've been on this cheesecake kick lately.  A couple weeks ago, I made that caramel apple cheese. I've also been buying them at the store and here I am making cheesecake again. No bake cheesecake is great. There is no baking in the oven required so you don't have to worry about getting cracks in your cheesecake. All you do is mix all your ingredients up in a bowl and then layer them together.  I added in some Nocciolata. You could make them into cheesecake parfaits if you wish too.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 8oz cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • ¼ cup of Nocciolata
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • Crust:
  • 3 Tablespoons of melted butter
  • 4 graham crackers, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream in a stand mixer, until stiff peaks form.
  2. While the heavy cream is mixing, combine the cream cheese, sugar, Nocciolata, and vanilla in a bowl and beat the cream cheese mixture until nice and smooth. Fold in the heavy cream.
  3. Make the crust. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs and sugar.
  4. Layer the cheesecake in a glass. Start with the graham cracker crust and then the cream cheese. I used a piping bag to layer the cream cheese mixture on top of the graham crackers.
  5. Top the cream cheese with leftover whipped cream and drizzle on Nocciolata on the top of the whipped cream.

I've never heard of nocciolata - I'm going to have to see if any of the stores around me carry it, bu it doesn't sound familiar at all!

This dessert looks really nice and is super easy - have to remember this for when I have people over.
