Hello and welcome! In case any of you are new here, each month I’ll post some happenings and pictures of what went on last month. It could be that nothing really happened at all but let’s continue.
I spent the entire month of November packing and moving my stuff to a storage unit. My storage unit was full of just stuff I wasn’t using at the current moment. I even got a city dumpster dropped off at my driveway a couple of times and ended up filling that to the rim twice. You could imagine the junk that previous house owners left behind. It was insane. I made sure nothing was left behind at my house so the new person moving in didn’t have to deal with any of that and I really didn’t want to take any of that junk over to my new place. There was a ton of garden supplies back in the shed and 2 compost garbage cans (that I never used). One of the garbage cans was so heavy (it had frozen) and my man friend had to help me lift that into the dumpster. The garbage can must have weighed at least 150 pounds.
Moving Day finally arrived on the 28th. It took 2 hrs to load all my stuff onto the truck and another 2 hours to unload. I packed up my dogs and their kennel and took them over to my Mom’s place and came back and tried and cleaned my house. Guys, if you are moving please be considerate and clean up after yourself when you move! I spent almost 10 hours cleaning my place and the place I moved into NOTHING was cleaned up. Kind of annoying.
New House Tour!
Upstairs living room – loving the vaulted ceilings. I haven’t had the chance to put up my Christmas decorations yet. I’ve put a few up on the window seat and that is it so far.
My bedroom – Sorry for the mess!
This is my new kitchen! I love how there is an island at the end. Lately, I’ve been sitting there and eating my daily meals. There is also a lot of storage and I have plans to update this kitchen.
This is where I shoot and film all the photos and videos you see on my blog. Well my new space anyway. It is right next to the kitchen which is a super nice space to be able to work in.
My bathroom – you could have a dance party in there. Compared to the last bathroom I had at my old house it is huge!
Downstairs living room – love that fire place!
Guest bedroom. Can you tell I like rugs and fuzzy pillows?
This is my office. I’d love to get a white desk eventually. My piano is also there so it is a music room/office.
That is the end of my tour. I really like my new house so far. It is a twin home and my neighbors go to work during the day so it’s super nice and quiet to work. I can hardly hear them too which is nice.
