Usually, I’m not a fan of sandwiches for lunch but this TunaCado sandwich and the Grinder Sandwich that went crazy on Tiktok this year changed my mind.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of Sour Dough Bread
- 2 cans or packets of Low Sodium Tuna
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 avocado sliced
- Tomato slices
- Homemade or Storebought Pesto - If you’re looking for a pesto recipe you can find one here.
Instructions
- Butter two slices of bread. Heat a non stick skillet to medium-high heat. Toast the bread on each side until it’s golden brown.
- In a bowl mix together the tuna and mayonnaise until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the pesto on one slice of bread and then the tuna mixture. Top the tuna with sliced avocados and tomatoes.
- Enjoy!
