Description

As many of you know I am a huge fan of Aldi and I grocery shop there on a weekly basis. The red bag chicken is super popular there an very popular amongst Facebook Groups. Get some of their specially selected Brioche Buns for easy chicken sandwich dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pack of Aldi's Red Bag Chicken

Olive oil spray (optional for extra crispiness)

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (190°C) and let it preheat for about 3-5 minutes. Preheating helps ensure even cooking.

Take the desired number of chicken fillets out of the freezer. There's no need to thaw them beforehand, making this a convenient option for a last-minute meal.

Lightly spray the fillets with olive oil. This step is optional but can help achieve an extra crispy texture.

Place the chicken fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.

Set the timer for 15-18 minutes. Halfway through cooking, flip the fillets to ensure both sides are equally crisp.

Notes

Check for Doneness: Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption. If needed, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
