Description
If you love green bean casserole but don’t need to make a full pan, this easy air fryer version is just right. It has all the creamy, crunchy, and cozy flavors of the traditional dish but in a smaller portion that’s perfect for one or two people.
Ingredients
1 can French-style green beans
1 can cream of mushroom soup
¼ cup crispy onion strips
A pinch of black pepper or garlic powder
Spray oil or butter
Instructions
Prep the foil container.
Lightly spray the bottom and sides with oil or butter so the casserole doesn’t stick.
Mix it up.
In a small bowl, combine the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and half of your crispy onions. Stir in a little pepper or seasoning if you like.
Assemble.
Pour the mixture into your foil container and smooth it out. Sprinkle the rest of your crispy onions on top.
Air fry.
Place the container in your air fryer basket and cook at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, or until it’s bubbling and the onions are golden brown.
(If your air fryer runs hot, start checking around the 8-minute mark.)
Cool slightly and serve.
Let it sit for a few minutes before eating — the sauce thickens up beautifully as it cools.
Notes
Serve this cozy casserole alongside mashed potatoes, rotisserie chicken, or even your favorite air fryer turkey tenderloins. It’s the perfect quick Thanksgiving-style side year-round.
