Description

These air fryer roasted tomatoes are a quick and easy way to bring out the natural sweetness and flavor of tomatoes. Enjoy their rich, savory taste as a versatile addition to your meal! They take less than 15 minutes to take and if you want to make soup you can blend or puree them after.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes. This helps ensure the tomatoes cook evenly.
  2. Place the seasoned tomatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Be careful not to overcrowd them, as this will prevent proper roasting. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Cook the tomatoes in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even roasting. The tomatoes should be slightly shriveled and caramelized on the edges when done.
  4. Carefully remove the tomatoes from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
  5. Serve the roasted tomatoes warm as a side dish, or use them as a topping for salads, pasta, or bruschetta.

Notes

Carefully remove the tomatoes from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.

Use a cooking spray to make these roasted cherry tomatoes zero points!
