  • Method: Stovetop
  • Cuisine: American

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound of ground beef

8 ounces of pasta:

1 cup of Greek yogurt:

1 onion, diced

2 cloves of garlic, minced:

1 tablespoon of olive oil:

2 roma tomatoes - diced

2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley

4 tablespoons of butter, melted

1 tsp of paprika

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish: Optional, but adds a fresh touch.

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Begin by cooking your pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Brown the Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. This should take about 8-10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Do not drain the oil from the beef.
  4. Add Greek Yogurt: In a bowl combine the greek yogurt and chopped garlic.
  5. Melt the butter and paprika in microwave safe bowl or over the stove top in a medium sauce pan.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Serve the pasta and top it with ground beef, greek yogurt, tomatoes, fresh parlsey, and drizzle it with butter.
