Description

Easy carnivore egg bites made with eggs, sausage, cheddar, and cream. A high protein, low carb breakfast perfect for meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 8 oz Ground pork sausage, cooked
  • ½ Sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cook the ground pork sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until smooth.
  4. Stir in the cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Grease a muffin tin well or use silicone liners.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly into each muffin cup.
  7. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the centers are set.
  8. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan.

Notes

  • Silicone muffin cups make removal much easier.
  • Let the egg bites rest for a few minutes before eating. They firm up as they cool.
  • If your sausage is very fatty, draining a little grease helps prevent soggy egg bites.
