Crab Rangoon Nachos

Description

These crab rangoon nachos are one of those recipes that are almost too easy for how good they turn out. Once you try them, you will want to keep wonton wrappers and cream cheese stocked at all times.

 
 

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Wonton wrappers
  • 1 package Crab meat or imitation crab
  • 1 8oz block Cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Green onions (optional)
  • Sweet and sour sauce
  • Spicy mayo
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, crab meat, W sauce, sugar, garlic powder, and green onions if using.
  2. Lay one wonton wrapper flat on a clean surface.
  3. Add a spoonful of the filling to the center.
  4. Place another wonton wrapper on top.
  5. Press the edges firmly to seal. You can lightly wet the edges with water to help them stick.
  6. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a small amount of oil, just enough to coat the bottom.
  7. Place the sealed wonton pockets into the pan.
  8. Cook for a few minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove from the pan and place on a plate.
  10. Drizzle with sweet and sour sauce and spicy mayo.
  11. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

 You can skip the crab and make a simple cream cheese filling if needed. You can also use ranch seasoning or everything bagel seasoning for a different flavor twist.
