Description
If you are looking for an easy, budget-friendly dinner that still feels fun and satisfying, this ham and pineapple pizza is a great option. It is made with simple ingredients, comes together quickly, and is perfect for using up leftover ham.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 store bought Pizza dough
- 2 -4 tablespoons of pizza sauce
- 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¾ cup cooked ham
- ¾ cup pineapple chunks
- Olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
- Let the pizza dough sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes so it is easier to stretch.
- Lightly flour a surface and stretch the dough into your desired shape. Place it on a baking sheet or pizza pan. (eyeball the amount of flour)
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
- Add diced ham and pineapple pieces across the pizza.
- If desired, brush the edges of the crust lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, then slice and serve.
Notes
You can swap mozzarella for a blend of cheeses if you prefer a richer flavor. If you like a little heat, add red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot honey after baking.
