Description

If you are looking for an easy, budget-friendly dinner that still feels fun and satisfying, this ham and pineapple pizza is a great option. It is made with simple ingredients, comes together quickly, and is perfect for using up leftover ham.


Ingredients

  • 1 store bought Pizza dough
  • 2 -4 tablespoons of pizza sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup cooked ham
  • ¾ cup pineapple chunks
  • Olive oil (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Let the pizza dough sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes so it is easier to stretch.
  3. Lightly flour a surface and stretch the dough into your desired shape. Place it on a baking sheet or pizza pan. (eyeball the amount of flour) 
  4. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
  6. Add diced ham and pineapple pieces across the pizza.
  7. If desired, brush the edges of the crust lightly with olive oil.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, then slice and serve.

Notes

 You can swap mozzarella for a blend of cheeses if you prefer a richer flavor. If you like a little heat, add red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot honey after baking.
