Description

Loaded Hash Browns are my new favorite quick breakfast or go to appetizer to make in the air fryer. They start with a crispy hash brown patty, get topped with melty cheddar, and then finished with Greek yogurt, bacon, and scallions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 frozen hash brown patty (any brand works)
2 to 3 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese (pepper jack works too)
1 tablespoon Greek yogurt (use sour cream if you prefer)
1 to 2 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1 tablespoon chopped scallions (chives or red onion work too)
    Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Place the frozen hash brown in the basket. Air fry at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Air fry for 1 more minute or until melted.

Move the hash brown to a plate. Add Greek yogurt, bacon, scallions, and any extra toppings you like.

Add a little salt, pepper, or everything bagel seasoning.

Notes

Leave space around the hash brown so it can crisp evenly
If your air fryer runs cooler, add one or two extra minutes before adding cheese
