- 2 to 4 slices Deli turkey or ham
- 2 slices Provolone or Swiss cheese
- ½ cup to 1 cup Lettuce
- ¼ of a tomato, sliced
- 4 dill pickles –
- ¼ cup mayo
- Red wine vinegar – Gives it that signature deli taste.
- Salt, pepper, oregano – Simple seasonings that make a big difference.
Instructions
- Start by chopping your deli meat and cheese into bite-sized pieces. This helps everything mix evenly.
- Add your chopped lettuce, tomato, onion, and any extra toppings to a bowl.
- Combine mayo, red wine vinegar, and some 1 tablespoon of dill pickle juice in a bowl. Whisk to combine.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Toss everything together until well combined and evenly coated.
Notes
You can swap the ham or turkey for whatever type of deli meat you have at home - like salami or prosciutto.
