Description

Make a Jersey Mike’s Sub in a Tub at home with this easy Aldi copycat. A high-protein chopped sandwich bowl ready in 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 to 4 slices Deli turkey or ham
  • 2 slices Provolone or Swiss cheese
  • ½ cup to 1 cup Lettuce
  • ¼ of a tomato, sliced
  • 4 dill pickles
  • ¼ cup mayo
  • Red wine vinegar – Gives it that signature deli taste.
  • Salt, pepper, oregano – Simple seasonings that make a big difference.

Instructions

  1. Start by chopping your deli meat and cheese into bite-sized pieces. This helps everything mix evenly.
  2. Add your chopped lettuce, tomato, onion, and any extra toppings to a bowl.
  3. Combine mayo, red wine vinegar, and some 1 tablespoon of dill pickle juice in a bowl. Whisk to combine.
  4. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  5. Toss everything together until well combined and evenly coated.

Notes

You can swap the ham or turkey for whatever type of deli meat you have at home - like salami or prosciutto.
