Description
Thin sliced chicken breast is one of the easiest proteins to cook in the air fryer. It is fast, reliable, and incredibly versatile. This simple method gives you juicy chicken every time and works well for both weeknight meals and meal prep.
Ingredients
-
3 to 4 Thin chicken breasts
-
2 tablespoons of oil
-
3 to 4 teaspoons of seasoning Salt (use your favorite one!)
Instructions
-
Preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees F if your model requires preheating.
-
Place the thin chicken breast in a bowl or use a cutting board. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using. Add a small amount of oil and toss to coat.
-
Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overlap.
-
Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping or shaking halfway through.
-
Check for doneness. The chicken should be opaque, lightly golden, and juicy.
-
Let the chicken rest for 2 minutes before slicing or serving.
Notes
Thin sliced chicken cooks very fast, so start checking at the 6 minute mark. If the pieces are different sizes, remove the smaller ones first. Letting the chicken rest for a couple minutes helps keep it juicy.
