Ingredients

4 large eggs

Water (enough to cover the eggs)

Ice (for the ice bath)


Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil.
  2. Carefully lower the eggs into the boiling water using a spoon.
  3. Boil the eggs for 7 minutes.
  4. Transfer the eggs immediately to an ice bath.
  5. Let the eggs cool for 5 minutes before peeling.

Notes

Always use an ice bath and peel under water!
