Description

Make juicy, flavorful Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Thighs in under 30 minutes! This easy recipe features tender chicken with a smoky, caramelized barbecue glaze that's perfect for busy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F for about 3 minutes.
  2. Pat the chicken dry and rub with olive oil.
  3. Season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Air fry for 10 minutes.
  5. Flip the chicken and brush with BBQ sauce.
  6. Cook for 5–7 more minutes.
  7. Brush with another layer of BBQ sauce and cook 1–2 minutes until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.

Notes

The chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F
