Description

Juicy and flavorful frozen chicken breast cooked straight from the freezer in the air fryer. Season it with your favorite spices and add BBQ, buffalo, teriyaki, honey garlic, or another sauce for an easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 3 to 5 minutes.

Lightly brush the frozen chicken breasts with olive oil.

Season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Place the frozen chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Air fry at 375°F for 15 minutes.

Flip the chicken and brush the tops with your favorite sauce.

Continue cooking for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the thickest part of the chicken reaches 165°F.

Notes

Choose similarly sized chicken breasts. Chicken breasts that are close in size will cook more evenly.

Don't overcrowd the basket. Leave space between the chicken breasts so the hot air can circulate around them.
