Description

Cooking burgers on a Blackstone griddle is a delightful experience that combines the rich, juicy flavors of a classic burger with the efficient, even heating of a high-quality griddle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lb ground beef patties - The ones I used had chunks of cheddar and gouda in it. (80% lean for juicier burgers)
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese (optional)
  • Lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo) for serving

Instructions

  1. Heating the Griddle: Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. A griddle temperature of around 375°F to 400°F is perfect for cooking burgers. If you don't have an electric griddle, you can also use a cast-iron griddle pan on your stovetop.
  2. Cooking the Patties: Once the griddle is hot, lightly grease it with a small amount of oil or butter to prevent sticking. Place the seasoned patties on the griddle, indentation side up. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on the first side without moving them. This allows a nice crust to form. Flip the patties and cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness (160°F for medium-well). If you're adding cheese, place a slice on each patty in the last minute of cooking and cover the griddle with a lid or a large bowl to melt the cheese.
  3. Toasting the Buns: While the patties are cooking, you can toast the burger buns on the griddle as well. Simply place the buns cut-side down on the griddle for about 1-2 minutes until they are golden and crispy.
  4. Assembling the Burgers: Once the patties are done, remove them from the griddle and let them rest for a minute. Assemble your burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and condiments. Top with the other half of the bun.

Notes

  • Serve your delicious griddle-cooked burgers immediately while they’re hot and juicy. Pair them with classic sides like fries, coleslaw, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
  • Also serve these burgers with some Air Fryer Frozen Curly Fries from Arbys. It’s delicious and everyone will love it!
