Description

The Carnivore diet has been exploding on Tiktok lately and I’ve been seeing a lot of videos about it. 


Ingredients

3 hard boiled eggs 

2 tablespoons of ghee or melted butter

1 tablespoon of lemon juice:

⅓ cup of water 


Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature. This helps the emulsification process.
  2. Blend the Egg Yolks: In a mixing bowl or food processor, whisk the egg yolks until they are thick and pale.
  3. Slowly Add the Fat: Gradually add the melted animal fat, a few drops at a time, while continuously whisking or blending. This step is crucial for achieving the right consistency.
  4. Add Lemon Juice, Water, and Salt: Once the fat is fully incorporated, mix in the lemon juice and salt. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
  5. Store Appropriately: Transfer the mayonnaise to a clean jar and store it in the refrigerator. Use it within a week for optimal freshness.

Notes

  •  Use it as a dip for grilled or roasted meats. Its creamy texture pairs well with the savory goodness of steaks and chicken.
