Description

Peaches and cottage cheese is a classic combination that has been enjoyed for decades, and for good reason.


Ingredients

    • 1 fresh ripe peaches (or 1 can of peach halves if fresh peaches are not available)

    • 3/4 cup of cottage cheese (fat free)

    • 2 tsp of honey (optional)

    • 1 tablespoons of chopped pistachios

    • A handful of fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

    • A sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Peaches: Wash the peaches thoroughly. Cut the peaches in half, remove the pit, and slice them into wedges or bite-sized pieces.
  2. In individual bowls or on a serving platter, place a generous scoop of cottage cheese. Arrange the peach slices on top of or around the cottage cheese.
  3. Add Finishing Touches (Optional): Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg over the peaches and cottage cheese for added flavor. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a touch of color and freshness.
