Description
With the Ninja Creami or a simple blender, you can create your own Shamrock Shake at home with just a few ingredients. This makes it an accessible and convenient treat for anyone craving a quick dessert fix.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of vanilla ice cream or a non-dairy alternative
- 1/2 cup of milk (or use a non-dairy milk of your choice)
- 1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract
- 2-3 drops of green food coloring (adjust for desired color intensity)
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
- Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, milk, peppermint extract, and green food coloring.
Blend on medium speed until smooth and well combined. The mixture should be creamy with a light green color.
Pour the blended mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container. Secure the lid tightly.
Place the container in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 24 hours, or until completely solid.
Once frozen, remove the pint container from the freezer.
Insert the container into the Ninja Creami machine according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Select the "Milkshake" setting and let the Ninja Creami work its magic. If the shake is too thick, you can "Re-Spin" the mixture to achieve the desired consistency.
Pour the Shamrock Shake into a glass.
Top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry if desired.
Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Shamrock Shake!
