Today I tried the custard toast that is trending on Tiktok right now. Is custard toast causing avocado toast go out of style? Only time will tell. 😉
Ingredients

- 1 slice of whole wheat or good bread
- 3 tablespoons of Greek Yogurt
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- Lemon zest or peel (optional)
- Mixed Berries for topping
Instructions
- Add the yogurt, egg, maple syrup, and lemon zest to a bowl. Whisk to combine.
- Flatten out a piece of bread or make a large indentation with the back of fork or spoon.
- Gradually pour the custard on top of the bread and top with berries.
- Air fry at 350 or 8 to 10 minutes.

It’s best fresh, but you can refrigerate leftovers for up to 1 day and reheat in the air fryer or toaster oven to crisp it up again.
