Onion chips are a trendy and delicious low carb snack option that's both easy to make and packed with flavorful crunchiness.
Ingredients
- 1 whole yellow or white onion, sliced into thin pieces
- ½ cup cheddar
- ½ cup mozzarella
- Seasoning of Choice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive Oil Spray
Instructions
Set your oven to 400°F (175°C) and let it preheat for about 3 minutes.
Place a sheet of parchment paper or tinfoil on a baking sheet. If using tinfoil spray it with cooking spray.
Spread the cheddar and mozzarella evenly over the baking sheet. Then spread the sliced onions on top of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Spray with Cooking Spray.
Bake for 15-20 or until cheese and onions become golden brown and crispy on the top.
Enjoy your viral onion chips immediately while it's fresh and crispy. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- Try a variety of different cheeses. Most use parmesan cheese but cheddar and mozzarella work as well.
