Description

Apple Crisp is the essential Fall dessert and it can be made in the Air Fryer! Bet you didn't know you can make sweet things in your air fryer didn't you?

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chopped apples (any kind)
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar

 Topping:

  • 2 ½ tablespoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of old fashioned oats
  • 2 tablespoons of cold butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees F. Butter a 5in oval baking dish.
  2. Peel, core, and cut the apples into small cubes. Combine the apples with the lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon. Pour into the dish.
  3. Cover the dish with the aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Open up the air fryer and continue cooking for 5 more minutes uncovered.
  4. To make the topping, combine the flour, sugars, salt, oatmeal, and cold butter in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix on low speed until the mixture is crumbly and the butter is the size of peas. Scatter evenly over the apples.
  5. Place the crisp back in your air fryer uncovered for 5 more minutes.
  6. Enjoy with some melted caramel sauce on top, whipped topping, or vanilla ice cream!
