Description

If you love bold flavors but want something quick, fresh, and budget friendly, these Greek Smash Tacos are going to become a regular in your kitchen.


Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Ground chicken

1 tsp Garlic powder

1/2 tsp Dried oregano

1 tbsp Lemon juice

Salt and pepper

6 Small Tortillas or Pitas

1 container of Tzatziki Sauce

1 English Cucumber

2 Roma Tomatoes

Feta cheese

Olive oil spray


Instructions

Start by seasoning your ground chicken in a bowl with garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Mix until everything is well combined.

Lay out your tortillas and press a thin layer of the seasoned meat directly onto one side of each tortilla. Press it down evenly so it sticks.

Heat a skillet or outdoor griddle over medium heat and lightly spray with olive oil. Place the tortillas meat side down onto the hot surface. Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes until the meat is fully cooked and develops a golden crust.

Flip the tacos and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes to crisp the tortilla.

Remove the tacos from the pan or griddle and top with tzatziki sauce, feta cheese, and any additional toppings you like such as lettuce, tomatoes, or extra cucumber. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
