Description

Are you looking for a low sodium taco seasoning recipe that is similar to those store bought taco seasoning packets? Look no longer  because you have found the only recipe for taco seasoning you need!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ Cups chili powder
    ¾ Cups cumin
    6 Tablespoons paprika
    2 Tablespoons garlic powder
    2 Tablespoons onion powder
    6 Tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a jar with a tight fitting lid, combine chili powder, paprika, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder,  and cornstarch. Close lid securely, and shake well to mix contents. 7 teaspoons is equivalent to 1 (1.25 ounce) package of taco seasoning.
  2. When the ground beef is done cooking in a skillet. Drain all the fat and add in 7 teaspoons of Taco Seasoning plus 3/4 cup of water. Let simmer until the sauce has evaporated.

Use 7 teaspoons for 1 pound of ground beef
