Description

Indulge in the refreshing and zesty delight of homemade Lemon Sorbet with the help of your Ninja Creami. This easy-to-make sorbet is perfect for cooling down on a hot day or as a light, palate-cleansing dessert

Ingredients

1/2 cup lemon juice or freshly squeezed lemon juice

⅓ cup sugar

1 tablespoon corn syrup

1 cup of water

Instructions

  1. Blend the lemon juice, sugar, and water in a blender such as a Magic Bullet and pour it into a Ninja Creami Pint.
  2. Freeze: Place the lid on the pint and freeze for about 6-8 hours or until the mixture is solid.
  3. Blend in the Ninja Creami: Once frozen, remove the pint from the freezer and attach it to the Ninja Creami Machine. Select the "Sorbet" setting and let the machine do its magic.
  4. Check to see how the sorbet is looking after the first blend. Might have to add in some orange juice or water and then respin it.

Notes

For a twist, add a splash of orange juice or a few mint leaves before blending for an added layer of flavor.

Most of the carbs come from the sugar and corn syrup in this recipe.

7 points per half the pint
