Description

Protein ice cream made in a Ninja Creami machine is a delicious, healthy treat that is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth while also fueling your body. With the addition of protein powder, you can boost the nutritional value of your ice cream while still enjoying the creamy, smooth texture that the Ninja Creami machine creates.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 scoops Owyn protein powder (or any plant-based or whey protein powder)

  • 8 oz chocolate almond milk (or Ripple plant-based milk for extra protein)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for enhanced flavor)

  • 1-2 tsp sweetener of choice (optional, for extra sweetness)

  • Pinch of salt (balances the flavors)

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients – In a shaker bottle or blender, mix all ingredients until smooth. This ensures the protein powder dissolves properly, avoiding any chalky texture.

  2. Freeze the Mixture – Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for at least 24 hours.

  3. Process in the Ninja Creami – Insert the frozen pint into the Ninja Creami and select the "Lite Ice Cream" or "Soft Serve" setting.

  4. Re-spin if Needed – If the ice cream is too crumbly or icy, add 1-2 tbsp almond milk and use the “Re-spin” function for a smoother texture.

Notes

Enjoy! Scoop and serve as-is, or add toppings like sugar-free chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or a drizzle of nut butter.
