Description

Cooking steak on a Blackstone is simple and easy just like cooking Steak on a grill. It takes no time at all and you can cook your protein of choice next to it.

Ingredients

Scale

    • 1 pound pork chops (1 to 2 inches in thickness)

    • 2 tablespoons olive oil

    • 1 teaspoon sea salt

    • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

Season the pork chops: In a large mixing bowl, toss the pork chops with olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder if using. Make sure the pork is evenly coated with these ingredients.

Preheat the Blackstone Griddle: Set your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. Allow it to preheat for about 5-10 minutes until it reaches a temperature of around 375-400°F (190-200°C).

Grill the Pork Chops: Place the seasoned pork chops on the hot griddle in a single layer. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork chops are tender and has a nice char. The exact cooking time will depend on the thickness of the pork chops.

Notes

Transfer the grilled pork chops to a serving platter and enjoy immediately. It's a perfect side dish for any grilled meats, poultry, or fish.
