Why You Will Like Blackstone Pork Chops

The high, even heat of the griddle sears the chops to perfection, locking in their natural juices while creating a crispy, caramelized crust. This method enhances the savory taste of the pork, giving each bite a rich, succulent flavor that is hard to achieve with other cooking techniques.

Cooking pork chops on a griddle is incredibly versatile and efficient. You can easily adjust the seasoning and marinades to suit your personal taste preferences, from classic salt and pepper to more adventurous spice blends.

The griddle's large surface area also allows you to cook multiple chops simultaneously, making it ideal for family dinners or entertaining guests.

Ingredients Needed for Blackstone Pork chops

    • 1 pound pork chops (1 to 2 inches in thickness)
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon sea salt
    • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
    • See the recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.

Step 3 Grill the Pork Chops: Place the seasoned pork chops on the hot griddle in a single layer. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork chops are tender and has a nice char. The exact cooking time will depend on the thickness of the pork chops.

    • Serve: Transfer the grilled pork chops to a serving platter and enjoy immediately. It's a perfect side dish for any grilled meats, poultry, or fish. Make some Blackstone Asparagus or Blackstone Smashed Potatoes for a side.
    • For even cooking, try to select pork chops that are similar in thickness.

    • Pair with a light garlic butter sauce or aioli for dipping if you want to add a bit more flair to your pork chops.

    How do I store leftovers?

Always store leftovers in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic,  whatever!  Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container.
