Description

This viral rice paper burger puts a fun twist on a classic cheeseburger! A cooked beef patty, melted cheese, pickles, and spicy mayo are wrapped in egg-dipped rice paper and air-fried until golden. Finished with sesame seeds, this burger has a unique texture and all the savory flavors you love in a cheeseburger. It's an easy way to try the viral TikTok food trend at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 rice paper sheets
  • 1 cooked frozen beef patty
  • 2 eggs, beaten for dipping
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • Pickles
  • Spicy mayo
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook the burger patty. Cook your frozen beef patty completely before assembling.
  2. Beat the eggs. Whisk two eggs in a bowl.
  3. Dip the rice paper. Dip all three rice paper sheets in the beaten egg.
  4. Line a bowl. Place the rice paper sheets inside a bowl, layering them to create a wrapper.
  5. Add the filling. Place the cooked burger patty inside, then add the cheese, pickles, and spicy mayo.
  6. Fold the sides. Fold the rice paper over the filling to seal the burger.
  7. Add sesame seeds. Sprinkle them over the outside to give it that burger-bun appearance.
  8. Air-fry. Cook until the wrapper is golden and has the texture you like.

Notes

Fully cook the frozen burger patty before assembling the rice paper burger.

Dip the rice paper: Beat the eggs in a shallow bowl and dip each of the three rice paper sheets into the egg.
