Description

Smoked Bacon Wrapped Shrimp - massive jumbo shrimp wrapped with bacon and marinaded in a teriyaki pineapple sauce - The perfect appetizer or entree for your next bbq or entree depending on what size shrimp you use.

Ingredients

Scale

10 colassal shrimp or Tiger Shrimp

5 thinly sliced strips of Prosciutto

1/4 cup of pineapple juice

1 tablespoon of soy sauce

1 tablespoon garlic

1 tablespoon of ginger

2 tablespoons of chopped scallions

1 tablespoon of brown sugar

Instructions

Remove the shell from the shrimp and wrap the Prosciutto around the shrimp. The Prosciutto I had was very long so I cut mine in half.

In a bowl combine the ingredients for the marinade. Pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and green onions.

Place the bacon wrapped shrimp in a gallon zip lock bag and add the marinade. Let that sit in the fridge for an hr.

Preheat your smoker or grill and set it to the highest temp possible. Place the shrimp on the grill and cook on one side for 7 minutes. After the 7 minutes is over flip the shrimp and cook for another 3 minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
